Capacity Building Program for
Summit Bank

A six days exclusive Islamic Banking training program was designed
and then executed for the senior management of Summit Bank from
October 14 -December 02, 2022 at the bank’s training academy
located at Karachi. Training was imparted on selective Fridays only.
Industry experts including Mufti Dr Irsahd Ahmad Aijaz, Mufti
Muhammad Najeeb Khan, Mr. Faizan Ahmad, Mufti Bilal Ahmad
Qazi, Mr. Kashif Nisar and Mr. Muhammad Faisal Shaikh conducted
sessions on various advance level topics. In addition to presentation
and discussion sessions, NIBAF also used daily quizzes to assess
the learned concepts. The program was attended by 17 officers of
the bank and received an above average rating for both the program
content and trainer competence and delivery skills.

Capacity Building for Business
Faculty Members of Universities

NIBAF in collaboration with IBA CEIF, Ihsan Trust and
Meezan Bank conducted a 5-day Islamic banking capacity
building program for the business faculty member of various
universities of Karachi. Faculty members from NED
University, Greenwhich University, KIET, Jinnah University
for Women, Jamia Darul Uloom, Karachi, BUKC, Hamdard
& DHA Suffa University, IBA Karachi, Iqra University,
Ziauddin University, IOBM, MAJU, SZABUL, Sindh
Madrasatul Islam, FUUAST etc. The program was renowned
islamic banking professionals and SBP officers from
October 17-21, 2022 for forty-five faculty members of the
said universities.
