23rd Batch of State Bank

Officers Training Scheme

The 23rd batch of ‘State Bank Officers Training Scheme’ (SBOTS) successfully complet-
ed its 19.7 weeks training at NIBAF Islamabad. 46 newly inducted Officers attended the
program. The curriculum of training program for SBOTS-23 was redesigned in line with
the findings of the ‘Survey for Assessing Effectiveness of Pre-Induction Training’ and
recommendations of concerned departments. Participants were evaluated/ assessed on the
basis of various learning/ training activities including modular test, panel discussion, role
play, group work/ syndicate exercises, individual/ group Presentation, assignments etc,
beside behavioral evaluation on different parameters.
Formal sit down dinner of the SBOTS participants were arranged with visiting Execu-
tive Director(s) of SBP and MD DPC. Mr. Qasim Nawaz Executive Director HR visited
NIBAF and had detailed session with the participants of SBOTS batch-23 highlighting
various aspects of SBP HR policy framework. Meanwhile, special evening talks & joint
sessions with YPIP batch-8 were also organized wherein prominent guest speakers includ-
ing Maliha Hussain Director Meharghar, Dr. Wang Zhihua-China Embassy, Dr.Adil
Najam and Mr. Hassan Dawod Butt addressed the participants.
As part of the exposure, study visits were arranged to Pakistan Stock Exchange-Islam-
abad, SBP-BSC Office Islamabad beside arranging sports gala.
