With the increasing demand of housing units in Pakistan in
           comparison  to  buy  building  or  construction.  The  gap  is
           broadening over the year. In fact, housing sector remains
           highly under-developed and untapped primarily due to lack
           of  mortgage  products  and  banks’  financing  structures
           besides slack in relevant skills and conducive environment.
           There is a great need of scaling up housing finance in order
           to  meet  higher  demand  of  affordable  housing  finance
           across all income levels.
           In order to develop banks human resource capacity in the
           area of housing finance and enhance their ability to abreast
           with  increased  demands  of  housing  unit  in  the  country,
           NIBAF planned to conduct training programs on housing
           finance during FY-2022. During Jul-Sept FY-2021-22, one   types, risk assessment & mitigations, collateral & security
           on-line  training  program  on  housing  finance  was   documentation,  comparison  of  home  loan  vs  mortgages,
           conducted.  The  course  highlights  the  importance  of   marketing & sale techniques, challenges & opportunities.

           scope of housing financing in Pakistan along with specific   their  views  on  housing  finance  risks  and  deliberated  on

              Some of the Highlights of DFG Programs by NIBAF



                    Conducted  an  awareness  program  on  SBP  schemes  for  women

                     entrepreneurs of Unilever Pakistan’s circle which was attended by almost
                     70 women entrepreneurs.




                    Organized  a  webinar  on  SBP  Asaan  Finance  Scheme  (SAAF)  for  senior
                     officials of banks including micro-finance banks.



                    Conducted  a  3-day  TOT  on  Housing  Finance  for  senior  officers  of

                     Microfinance banks to promote government schemes on housing sector.
